T minus 6 weeks (give or take)...

Tomorrow I'll be 34 weeks pregnant with only 6 weeks left until my due date. For some reason I have this feeling that she'll be a little early--nothing huge, maybe only a week at the most. I'm not sure why, though. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part! I'm still feeling pretty good for the most part. This past week I've started to really feel how big I am and the "pregnancy waddle" is in full force. I'm definitely a little less stable on my feet, but no big clumsy moments so far!

33 weeks

We've continued getting things ready for our little girl and feel pretty prepared. Though I don't think we'll ever be fully prepared--there's just too many "if's"! I was able to attend a breast-feeding class a couple weeks ago. I didn't learn anything really profound, but it was nice to have more information. I felt kind of bad for the two husbands that attended with their wives. Let's just say there was a lot of squirming in their seats and uncomfortable looks on their faces. They showed a video and it was really funny to see these two guys try to simultaneously pay attention and avert their eyes! Also, this past Saturday Dan and I went to a Prepared Childbirth class. It was an all day class, but the instructor was really entertaining (she even showed a clip from Bill Cosby: Himself). There were only 3 couples there, so it was really laid back and we joked around a lot. I have to pick on Dan and share this funny story, though. It was a childbirth class so, of course, they showed a couple of birthing videos. Dan just so happened to liken these videos to scary movies. They start off all nice and happy; everyone's smiling, there's no worries and happy music playing in the background. Then BAM! There's drama and blood and lots of gruesome images. We all got a big kick out of that. I do have to say that the whole thing reminded me of the "Friends" episode where Chandler, Monica and Rachel watch the birthing video. Let's just say I can totally sympathize now!
